RBRF MEMBERSHIP and ASSOCIATION

If you are an Indian Citizen and your interest go to the broad mission of RBRF (Biodiversity Conservation and Women Empowerment) and if you are aged between 21-65 years, you can submit your Expression of Interest (EoI) under any of the organization’s membership category as below:

  • (a) Governing Body Member (GBM)
  • (b) Business Council Member (BCM)
  • (c) Green Council Member (GCM)
  • (d) Women Council Member (WCM)

Please note that your EoI is subject to acceptance of the Founder-President and recommendation of any present member. The organization always looks for like-minded people who are intended to work for the welfare of human society or for the environment.

  • (a) GBM - The main responsibility of a GBM is to active participation in day-to-day activities of the organization; i.e. Policy Making, Decision Making, Goal setting and overall Administrative and Financial Control. Any Indian Citizen within the above age group and with certain credibility is eligible to approach for RBRF GB Membership. The RBRF GB is consists 20 dignitaries; i.e. President (1), Vice President (4), Secretary (1), Joint Secretary (1), Assistant Secretary (3), Treasurer (1) and General Member (9).
  • (b) BCM - The main responsibility of a GBM is to conduct various businesses from RBRF platform which will directly help the poor women community of rural Bengal. RBRF has a number of ready business modules. The BCMs can choose any one or more modules to carry-out their businesses, according to the RBRF guidelines. Any Indian Citizen within the above age group and with certain credibility is eligible to approach for RBRF BC Membership. This council will consist of maximum 50 dignitaries; i.e. EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (2) and MEMBERS COUNCIL (48). Executive Council Members are -Vice President (1) and Secretary (1).

RBRF Designed Business Sectors:

  • Food Sector (8)
  • Photography Sector (8)
  • Video & Film Sector (8)
  • IT Sector (8)
  • Education & Skill Sector (8)
  • Consultancy Sector (8)
  • (c) GCM - The main responsibility of a RBRF GCM is to pursue and to undertake various environmental projects, especially on Scientific Plantation and Mass Awareness Projects on Wildlife Conservation; which will definitely bring forth a greater impact on Nature Conservation. Any Indian Citizen within the above age group and with certain relevant credibility is eligible to approach for RBRF GC Membership. Although, RBRF encourages Nature/Wildlife Activists, Educators, Researchers, Photographers and other similar interest groups to be a part of RBRF Green Council. This council will consist of maximum 50 dignitaries; i.e. EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (2) and MEMBERS COUNCIL (48). Executive Council Members are -Vice President (1) and Secretary (1).

Aims and Objectives of Green Council:

  • To conduct a minimum of 50 plantation programs each year.
  • To conduct a minimum of 50 mass awareness programs each year.
  • To conduct a minimum of 50 eco-tour programs each year.
  • To publish a 50 editions e-journal on environment, forests and wildlife each year.
  • To produce a 50 episodes web series on forests and wildlife each year.
  • To develop a Nature Interpretation Centre at Sundarbans.
  • (d) WCM - The main responsibility of a RBRF WCM is to pursue and to undertake various Women Welfare projects, especially on Women Empowerment, Skill Training, Market Linkage, Placement Assistance, Shelter Assistance for the Single Women/Mother/Widows and to conduct prominent movements favoring Women Rights, which will definitely bring forth a greater impact on Women Upliftment. Any Indian Citizen (Women only) within the above age group and with certain credibility is eligible to approach for RBRF BC Membership. Although, RBRF encourages Nature/Wildlife Activists, Educators, Researchers, Photographers and other similar interest groups to be a part of RBRF Green Council. This council will consist of maximum 280 dignitaries; i.e. EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (30) and MEMBERS COUNCIL (250). Executive Council Members are -Vice President –Movement (1), (1) Secretary -Movement (1), Joint Secretary –Movement (1), Assistant Secretary –Movement (2), Vice President –Widow Support (1), (1) Secretary - Widow Support (1), Joint Secretary – Widow Support (1), Assistant Secretary – Widow Support (2), Vice President –Single Mother Support (1), (1) Secretary - Single Mother Support (1), Joint Secretary – Single Mother Support (1), Assistant Secretary – Single Mother Support (2), Vice President –Single Women Support (1), (1) Secretary - Single Women Support (1), Joint Secretary – Single Women Support (1), Assistant Secretary – Single women Support (2), Vice President –Rural Women Skill and Livelihood Support (1), (1) Secretary - Rural Women Skill and Livelihood Support (1), Joint Secretary – Rural Women Skill and Livelihood Support (1), Assistant Secretary – Rural Women Skill and Livelihood Support (2), Vice President –Placement Support (1), (1) Secretary - Placement Support (1), Joint Secretary – Placement Support (1), Assistant Secretary – Placement Support (2).

Aims and Objectives of Women’s Council:

  • To conduct a minimum of 12 social movements each year.
  • To conduct a minimum of 12 Seminars each year.
  • To conduct a minimum of 12 skill development programs each year.
  • To rehabilitate at least 50 widows, Single Mothers and Single Women each year.
  • To extend support at least 100 placements each year.
  • To develop a Suffers Community Living Centre around Kolkata.

Benefits of Membership

  • (a) Each Member will get their Identity Card and Validation Letter.
  • (b) Members can use their personal visiting cards with their respective designation.
  • (c) Members can use RBRF logo/sticker to their Car, MotorCycle, T-Shirt etc.
  • (d) Members can attend all the relevant Meetings, Seminars and Conferences.
  • (e) Members should participate in all the events to extend the RBRF manifesto.
  • (f) Membership is open for 1 year, 3 Years, 5 Years and Life Membership
